Description: Rare and large brass and glass ceiling/wall light by Gio Ponti for Arredoluce, circa 1960. Dubbed „Sole Grande“ this was designed for the Hotel London in Milan and produced in limited numbers. Sunburst design with eight long brass rays around a satin glass diffuser. Nice original condition with a fair amount of patina on the brass. Two original brass and ceramic E27 sockets with new wiring and original manufacturer’s label inside the backplate.
