Description: Rare Swedish marquetry table lamp by Birger Ekman from 1939. Arched base, depicting a female nude with floral decorations on front and back, executed in a variety of wood veneer. Very nice original condition with some light wear due to dryness of the wood. One original patinated brass E27 socket with new wiring. Shade most likely re-covered at at later date with minor patina. Signed on the bottom of the base: „Birger Ekman, 1939“
